The hotel is centrally located, 10 minutes from Trabzon center, facing the Black Sea, making it ideal for exploring Rize, Uzungol, Sumela Monastery, and convenient for airport access. The service received was pleasant and excellent, though some staff members may need additional training for a better customer experience. The dining offered a good variety, but could benefit from more Turkish influence. The price is reasonable, but there are alternatives with better value within Trabzon itself. The rooms provide an excellent internet connection and cable TV, with one double bed and a sofa; however, the noise from the elevator may disturb light sleepers. The hotel offers Sofitel's L'Occitane personal care products, but only in the Black Sea region. The dining is of excellent quality, the location is great, but the noise from the elevator and the limited availability of the personal care products are a bit of a downside.
